Who are “They”?

How often in conversation do you refer to “they”? They said…., They told me…., According to them…., etc. This is an easy way to reference no one who has no real thoughts and no real credence. Yet the term is often used to lend credibility to something we say. How ironic is that?

Do we try to shift blame for something we are unsure of to some nebulous entity by using this terminology? Why? True, honest, intentional communication cannot be lazy in its presentation. We need to be direct our communication at someone or toward a specific purpose along with accepting the words, looks and actions we display.

Who do you need to interact with this week in an intentional manner to clarify communication?
